We'd been out walking since 9am this morning so had worked up quite the appetite by the time we arrived at 5pm. It was rated 5th best restaurant in Füssen so we'd thought we'd give it a try. We were greeted by a very friendly member of staff who spoke very good English and shown to a table. Drinks were very well priced and the house beer was lovely. I opted to have the pork knuckle and my wife had the goulash, they came out very quickly so I didn't expect anything great however both were some of the best that we'd had on our trip. For desert I had the apple fritters and my wife had the strudel, again both were beautiful, considering I dont really like hot puddings let alone hot fruit puddings. The evening was made lovely buy our attentive host and the restaurant well deserves its high rating.

Hospitable hard working servers and fantastic home cooked style meals. Will be coming back for sure next time I visit.

Lovely hotel with clean rooms and friendly service

Good hotel and restaurant! Single room was small but functional, plenty of space for 1 person. Breakfast buffet was very nice, lots of options. I had dinner in their restaurant which was nice. Their salad bar was small but tasty. Good value!

Very big restaurant in the city center of Fussen. If you do not book in advance, you may have to wait a bit. Always very crowded. The food and the atmosphere is very typical. Portions are quite big, better to share the dishes. Very tasty the cheese spatzle with crunched onions but didn't like at all the soup that was not tasty and the schniztel. Ok the ice cream with hot raspberries. Price quite high on some dishes. No parking being in the city centered.

Bad food, pre cooked and heated upon ordering. Don't eat there...

We ate in the restaurant Schenke & Wirsthaus and it was cozy and had hearty, delicious vegetarian dishes at a reasonable price. Highly recommend in Füssen. Such a cute old town area!

Great German food

We had a very good dinner (typical, German, well tastings 🍺🍗), in a nice, cosy environment. The service was great; the waiters were happy and excellent 👍 We would like to come back 😊 March 20th, 2019

Great hotel in a lovely old town close to nature and of course close to neuschwanstein. They got free parking spaces in the back, but reserve them on time as they are limited!

Nice place with good, classic Bavarian/Austrian food. The waiter was helpful and friendly. Not so much noise at the time we were there (7:30 pm)

Good basic hotel with excellent service.

Loved Füssen and loved this hotel. Location couldn't be better. Best included breakfast I've ever had. Manager was congenial and very helpful. A lot of locals were in the restaurant as well as hotel guests and the staff was great.

Excellent food, kind service. This place was crowded while many were empty. The waiter made sure to find us a place. Very good selection of beers and variety of food. Truly excellent. Would certainly return.

What a wonderful place! My family and I stayed at this location for one night. It was incredibly comfortable. Everything was super clean. The room was spacious. The bathroom seemed large compared to the other German hotels we stayed in. The beds were very comfortable. We had a balcony overlooking a courtyard. The restaurant was nice, we went down late in the evening for some beers and an apple strudel. It was delicious! The included breakfast was good. Lots of variety. All of the staff were very friendly and helpful. The location was excellent as well, right in the middle of Fussen. There are tons of local shops and eateries within walking distance. I highly recommend this place!

Located centrally to many shops, dining, the bus/train line, and in the shadow of St. Mangnus, this hotel was a perfect location in Füssen. The attached restaurant was a great price for full meals+ beers. Concierge helped reserve tour tickets for the castles. Rooms were clean and typical of what you'd expect traveling through Germany. Found via Rick Steves and highly recommended.

Came here to the restaurant with my wife and had dinner. Wow. This place was fantastic. The food was extraordinary and perfectly cooked with great prices to match. Our waitress was all smiles and as friendly as could be. The building has a great old feeling and style to it and is very well kept. Surely one of the best German restaurants I've ever eaten at since living here. This was one of the only times I've ever felt that the prices for the quality of food we got wasn't enough. If you're in the area, you MUST eat here! You will NOT be disappointed.

A helpful host, good food and a comfy bed. The only criticism is that the rooms are kept too warm for my liking, as I struggle to sleep when it is warm.

The dinner here was a spectacularly authentic German repast. Highly recommended to anyone and everyone.

Decent hotel. NO AC, NO ELEVATOR. Kinda upsetting, but those are vanaties we take for granted. The hotel also comes with a neat pass (free bus rides and reduced price for various things in the city) Hotel service only there till' 10 but you can call them and they can sort out an issue if it's really bad. Location is in the heart of town, lots of neat shops and restaurants nearby (one being in the hotel itself.) Overall I would be fine with coming here again! Don't hesitate.

Great location, easy to go out and walk around the city center. Charming town. Many choices to choose from to go out and eat. Rooms spacious and clean. No Aircon but we managed with the window open. Good price. Breakfast was nice, simple but good. A good choice to stay if you are passing through Europe as we are doing. Parked our car in their garage.

Very nice service. Food was good but not super special. Location is nice in the center of fuessen. Portions are big and the prices are reasonable

Quick service(lunchtime), english for tourist. We had Pork leg with Knödel. Was quite tasty, almost to much meat. More Knödel would be better for that dish. If you are hungry, you are good to go here

Charming, clean restaurant with a wide selection of German meals. We finished the meal with the sliced pancakes with apple that are this restaurant's staple and they were excellent. Cash only.

Very quaint hotel in downtown füssen. Service was really good. Especially at the restaurant attached. I have really enjoyed my stay.

The room was very clean and modern. The hotel is located in a very nice pedestrian zone, and we wished we could stay longer. The breakfast was wonderful, and the hotel staff made sure to make us feel welcomed.

Really good food, friendly and accommodating staff, nice clean room and our balcony had gorgeous view of the castle. I would recommend staying here and the parking was tight but free! We came in from Washington DC.

Very clean and inviting with flowers on balconies. Only a 7-minute walk to train station and buses to castles. Beautifully decorated, large breakfast area. Included breakfast is a feast. We ate twice at downstairs restaurant. Prices there are reasonable, but food is somewhat bland.
